Thanks to the nonprofit Earthworks, all you have to do is print a prepaid postage label from recyclemycellphone.org, pop your unwanted gadget in a padded envelope, and leave it for your mail carrier. The program also accepts chargers and batteries making sure these often toxic items don’t end up in a landfill.
